Pluto!!!!!!

This Morning in the car with my father we had a discussion about Pluto, the now ex-planet. In the summer of 2006 i was gone for 8 weeks and when i cam back Pluto was no longer a planet. I was left in awe when all of a sudden Pluto was no longer a planet. Who has the power to change something that is. Even if someone does have that power to change Plutos status isn't it like a slap in the face to Clydde Tombaugh, the man who discoverred Pluto in 1930? I know technology has improved a lot since 1930 but maybe technology is just no good. When i had told my father that maybe tecchnology is bad he looked at me and kinda laughed. He said "before technology people looked at the horizen and thought that that was the end of the worldand it droped off the siide of the world. with out technology there would have been no exploration." This is very true but without the technological advancements for exploration colonization would neever have been a probblem. if the Europeans could not get to other cultures than possiblie they would not have stomped on the other cultures and then force their culture onto the people. My father was again laughed and then asked me the oh so very serious question, "well would you give up your Ipod?" i laughed and said come on dad this is just a hypothetical conversation.

I believe that you have left out our mutual concern for issues of self image that the decision caused Plutonians. It was a shock for you to discover the change in Pluto's status but imagine the surprise of those living on Pluto, let alone the need to change all of their stationary and address cards!

I too have been very concerned about the loss of Pluto as a planet, because I have several friends that I believe may have come from Pluto or may even be living there now. Imagine, learning that you are Truly from 'Nowhere."
